I recently picked up what is probably now the gem of my
collection, a Sheaffer Targa Masterpiece.  It's an interesting pen with a unique past.  I shot a few questions to Andreas Lambrou on Pentrace and from other sources I've pieced together some things about the pen.  Pictured below with my CP-1.

Some info on the pen includes the following:

The pen was cataloged from 1981 to 1997

Solid 18k gold made in France (neat little hallmarks)

Solid Gold Clip as well

18k nib - as were US made Targa's destined for the French market

No jewels on the ends, just gold

Also includes English gold import hallmarks

I'll include weight comparisons of the cap and barrel against those of other metal Targa's.
