Several years back, I acquired my first Filcao fountain pen and have been adding to my collection since then. Both Dennis Bowden and Giovanni Abrate have been very helpful to me in this endeavor.
Here's a photo of my original version Filcao Leaders (which include a few prototypes):
Next is a photo of my Filcao Sylvias. Both the red/horn and ivory/horn pens are the original LE (only 10 made of each) versions:
Here's the only photo of a Filcao nib I have in my archives. My digital camera quit working a few days ago and I am currently saving for a DSLR to replace it.
This is a nib from one of my Sylvias. Filcao uses both Schmidt and Bock nibs.
Very nice. I don't know why US brands can't have that kind of color palatte. That new Sheaffer in BLACK really turns me off. I don't mind Black pens per se and have a bunch of them (even carry them) but I like to carry some style around sometimes.
I'm assuming those are new pens. What dealer do you recommend and how much will they set me back? Any 14k nib options?
Jack you are dammed...you and that guy who told me to look at Swan are dammed to hell....you and he will probably have to take turns at the Air conditioning machine.
There should be enough air conditioning machine repairmen down there to have made for some Hellish Cooling.
