Pilot Tank "Non-Self-Filling (eyedropper) Pen"

I just received one of these from ASAPens in India, and haven't inked it yet. The barrel seal is an interesting thing, which will hopefully work on its own, but a bit of silicone grease on the threads will likely be added.

One interesting observation: removing that seal will expose the usual plastic Pilot cartridge nipple, meaning this pen could also be used as a c/c pen. I don't know whether the seal would survive removal, though, but if it ever does fail it's nice to know that the pen will work without it.

I did some general maintenance of my inked (and previously-inked-but-neglected) pens, flushing and "sonicating" where needed. This freed up a couple of slots in my selection of in-use pens, and I finally inked the "Tank" with Cult Pens (Diamine) Deep Dark Green. The pen's F nib has just enough give to it to provide some interesting line variation; I think I'll be using this one rather a lot.

The low point of the maintenance process was discovering a cracked section sleeve on my TWSBI 540. :-/

On the bright side, it took only two days for Philip Wang to send me replacement parts.
