A Few Parker BPs

Here are a few of the many Parker BPs I have added to my accumulation over the years...

 Big Red from the 1970s

Infusion trio

1982 Brass barrel Jotter in Mandarin Yellow

UK Jotter in Chili Red

Very fond of my Jotters, pens and pencils both. That Mandarin yellow pen is a beauty!

Thanks! It is one of the few I specifically bought as a "Collector's Item". I need to move some pens around in my display cases to find a spot to show it in my home office.

The Big Red is Mandarin Yellow also, but I accidentally de-glossed the finish with a wipe having alcohol in it. I kick myself many times for that, but Ron Zorn on FPN told me once to try Quixx acrylic headlight restorer to put a gloss back on. Trouble is, I need such a small quantity I can not justify spending more than $20 for a large bottle I'll never use afterward. Someday perhaps, when my car needs it...

Future acrylic floor "polish," perhaps?

This is a current favorite Parker BP - the stainless steel Reflex. Not commonly available anymore, this is a bigger "Jotter" lacking only a solid refill advance mechanism. The clicker is okay, just less precise and solid feeling than some older Jotters.

I only have two of these. I should have bought at least five of them when I had an opportunity. The barrel is textured rubber, so the grip is slightly cushioned but easy to hold. The pen is much larger than a Jotter, so my long term usage is much more comfy. The all-plastic and fountain pen reflexes are more available, and I have two FPs for use. They use the Vector nib, and write very well for a bargain Parker.

Anyways, just two more Parker BPs I am happy with.

Been a long while since I've posted anywhere since I've had to move to a new Dell PC with Windows 10. My old Vista machine started acting screwy, so I took the leap with Microsoft's latest boondoggle. (Actually, I hope it works very well!)

Here's a couple of snaps of some Vectors. First, a UK FP with a Medium nib. Then a group of older USA Vector rollerballs. And a later UK rollerball in the package. Nice pens, but terrible photos, LOL!
