It belonged to this guy in 1942:

Sir Jesse Hartman was Potentate of the Antioch Shrine in Dayton, Ohio at the time. It doesn't look as though he ever used this pretty rolled gold Redipoint pencil, though.

I love being able to connect something engraved on a pen or pencil with its original owner.
