[video=]Hi Dennis..

Well that reply was a breath of fresh air.

Normally i would receive a reply totally criticising a video from one of the powers that be then the pack would descend in agreement.Im a big boy and have no problem with constructive criticism but when they try to express warnings then they are barking up the wrong tree.As i said i find it totally disgraceful and feel sorry for the less experienced members who i think are afraid to make any comments once they see that the dictators have spoken. What a bunch of sad individuals.Anyway enough said.Lets try and keep pens fun and enjoyable.

As with your videos i try and guide viewers in some of the repair aspects so they can physically see what is needed to be done rather than read it.I have also made some videos of pens from my own collection.

I would very much like to share my videos with the members here,as i am new i am not sure were to post them. Here is my last video and once members are on my site they can view all the others.Lets try and encourage more memberships....

Ive tried to upload below, not sure if i have done it correctly.

Hi Everyone...Am i allowed to speak freely here ?

Today without notice it appears that TFN has blocked me from the forum. As i am a collector of fountain pens i thought it would be nice to join a forum and even contribute with pen reviews and informative videos on some repairs for the less experienced members.Unfortunately we had some disagreements in views with the powers that be and they obviously did not like my contributions. After blocking some posts and then in there words making others invisible it appears they have now totally blocked my access to TFN.

I thought it was the land of free ? So what has happened to free speech ? There are people around the world fighting for free speech. Yet.

Here we have a so called public forum were items are censored made invisible and dictated by a few at what there members can read or watch.

What a disgrace.

Hopefully i am allowed to write my views here. And i would be interested in hearing from other members that have had a bad experience with TFN.

Many thanks.

Welcome to the draconian 'toe the line, worship us or die world of FPN'. You are not the first nor will you be the last to be a victim of their ban hammer. Here at TFPC you can express any view or opinion you like. Really the only thing that will get you banned here is spamming or porn posts. Just because you share a different view from someone (Gasp EVEN AN ADMIN!) doesn't mean your going to be blasted, restricted or removed from the community. Personally I would rather see difference of opinions on pens, products, companies and personalities in the pen world that stimulate discussion. What fun is a site full of clones & drones spewing the same BS mantra? I have had serious issue with how FPN is run for many years. Beginning when I was asked to lead the repair forum when they were just getting rolling. I agreed and a few months later with no word I was removed as a mod. To those who know what I'm talking about, this had nothing to do with my (RCBPD) & failure to supply my repair DVD's to clients. It was a case of butt hurt politicking & someone else wanting the position. As I see it FPN has a serious case of what we here in MO call the 'good ole boy network' propping up, supporting and promoting those who kiss the proper ass. Frankly, I think it's disgusting & at every opportunity discourage anyone from frequenting the site.

Personally, I would love to view and read your videos and reviews. If you post them I'll be happy to 'sticky' them so they are a part of our community for the duration.

So in short, this is the site of free speech, post & say anything you like. We look forward to hearing your opinions.

The forum is just down for a little bit, no need to be worried. Hopefully it will be up again soon!

Hello...I am not worried. If they can make my videos "invisible" maybe there trying to make the site invisible too.I am disgusted by TFN dictatorship and would much rather come to a site where everyone even newbies can express there views without the men in black big brother attitude.Pen collecting should be fun and enjoyable.Im more than happy to try and promote and encourage members here....

Thanks.

Gee, I never had any issues with Fountain Pen Network and am surprised to hear that. I know there's a ban on denograting inks, like Bay State Blue, but otherwise, I did not know of problems. It's the biggest out there!

Well unfortunately it seems they have an issue with my videos,so much so that they are dictating who can watch them.In their own words they made my last video invisible ! Which is a shame as they are there to try and help the members who are quite new to fountain pens.It is disgraceful that items on a so called public forum are being censored by a few. They maybe the biggest out there but they are definitely not the best ....

That is odd. I've watched your videos and enjoyed them. I'm even keeping my eyes peeled on your for sale pens.Your love of pens in evident.

I wonder if there might not be an issue with the "sales" aspect of your vids? Maybe because you don't use the classified portion of FPN? I'm just guessing. Anyway, I enjoy your stuff here and on Youtube.

Hello again...You are allowed to watch the videos they have not censored, but they have made one "invincible".As i said they are there for the members to enjoy and hopefully find informative.Unfortunately there are a small few who have decided it is not for public viewing. Its a shame but who needs a forum that tells you what you can or can not watch....

Thanks for watching and for your comments....
