Dunhill gold coloured or gold pen.
Permalink Closed

It would have been my first Dunhill pen.  Mail arrived on Saturday, signed for it, then drew attention of the postman that the envelope had been sliced open. The pen was missing. Visited the local Royal Mail sorting office, and got the waffle they are sometimes damaged by the machines. Showed the manager that the envelope had been cut open with a blade, and eventually condescended that we are looking at theft of the pen.

Recorded delivery and to sign for, yet the damage had 'never been noticed' at the sorting office, or by the delivery man. !!!!!   Have had several pens delivered recently and it looks like someone at Royal Mail has put 2 & 2 together.  Was going to bid for another pen last night, but the episode has put me off.

As regards the Dunhill gold coloured/gold plated, whatever, I will never know. Dunhill pens are not cheap though, so has someone stolen a valueable pen ? Probably.

That's terrible. I'm sorry your pen was stolen. cry

Our post office is exceedingly slow. I've been waiting for a stash of pen sacs from woodbin in Canada since September 6. I'm starting to get worried that someone thought the package from Canada was interesting. I've also been waiting for two packages from Hong Kong. It'll be one month soon for those two and Hong Kong is an hour and a half flight from Manila.
