I agree 100%, they just don't make them like they used to. IMHO, pelikan is the best german manufacturer hands down. I've yet to meet one I didn't love.

It's got a nice springy nib.
Some German Ebay seller would not ship to Spain, and I was asked to transship. So I had one in hand for two days. I could talk my self into getting an '80's 800.
No way I'm going to get a modern nail 800.
