Welcome to- The Fountain Pen Community!

Surely I'm not alone in ocassionally getting swept away by random obsessions?  This latest one was a fascination with fountain pens (hence, my presence here).  I often use one that seemed pretty nice when I bought it about 25 years ago but the gold plating on the fixtures was wearing off and I was yearning for another one; a nicer one.  Browsing Waterman and Pelikan pens at Amazon and ebay led to deeper online research into the history and offerings of different companies.  Eventually arriving at pendemonium.com, I looked around for information about my present pen.  Turns out that it's much more valuable than expected.  I'll treat my Sheaffer Connaisseur with more honor and respect in the future.
