Doubt there is one. I've got some graphite sticks that size (girth, not length) and they're meant to draw with as is, not stick in a holder or pencil. Could be wrong though. That is LONG though. Wow.

I have some solid graphite sticks meant for drawing as well. These are bigger, a solid 1/2 inch diameter. They're actually "gouging electrodes" from a machine that was gone from my last place of employment before I started there, more than twenty years ago. I salvaged them from the trash after someone decided to empty the cabinet they'd been in all that time.

I gave a box to a friend who was teaching art at the time. smile.gif

that's awesome. a buddy of mine is a glass blower (he makes wine glasses and 'tobacco' pipes) and he used long graphite sticks like this for poking and shaping the glass. It was really cool to watch. I was trying to remember that for earlier but couldn't place it.
Very cool.
